  This is the Second time i have made a deposit and they said i counted my money wrong after me counting it 20 times. The first time they said i was 300 short after counting 2 more times they realised i was right this time they said even more, after i watched the counting machine stuff up and spew the money out. Just make sure you count your money before making a deposit.

  1. Was cold called by a staff member in regard to getting a better return on surplus funds I had in an online savings account. As it was not convenient to talk I asked the staff member to call back. I never received the call back and promptly transferred my money to another bank.
  
  2. In managing a relatives estate I received a cheque made out to the estate the branch immediately deposited the funds into the late relatives existing account. As I attempted to bank a second cheque some months later I was informed that the bank must freeze this account (why did this not happen the first time?), Upon asking for a days grace to consult a joint executor about the possibility of sending the cheque back to the drawer the staff member assured me the account would not be frozen until I got back to them. The next morning it was discovered the account was frozen and the deposited funds were not available until a multitude of forms were filled out and the funds were locked up with the CBA for around 3 weeks.
  
  Overall there appears to be inconsistencies with the training and or abilities of the staff at this branch - whether this is the responsibility of the branch manager or CBA head office? I will leave for the CBA to decide but I would not rely on anyone at this branch for financial or transactional advice.
